Swing set

For their birthday's we wanted to get the girls a swing set this year.  The problem was there weren't any good deals and the swing sets weren't really out yet around their birthday time.  So we waited a few weeks and bought one a little bit later.  Dave, my Dad and our neighbor Todd and at the end our friend Seth took most of the day to put the swing set together.  Rylee had spent the night with Aunt Jessie and Uncle Daniel that night so we just had Makenzie for most of the morning while putting it together.  Todd and his wife, Maria have a little boy Joshua that Makenzie played with for most of the morning to entertain themselves while their dads worked hard.  Here are some pictures....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then that evening we had a cookout with Seth and Krista and their boys Noah and Luke and our neighbors Todd and Maria and their son Joshua.  Here are the kids around the firepit after dinner and then walking on some of the trials behind our house.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter!  Sorry I'm several weeks behind on these but I still wanted to post them for you to see.  We had a great Easter.  The Easter Bunny came to the house for the girls, then we went to church and to my Mom and Dad's for lunch and had an Easter egg hunt for the girls.  They had a blast.  We missed Jessie and Daniel this year though since Jessie had to work.  Here are a few pictures...

Last week when we were all sharing sicknesses, Dave and Rylee were both well so Dave got to take her to the Easter Egg Hunt at her school. They had a blast doing it and got to make a really cute craft too. Here are a few pictures that Dave took of Rylee.

Easter Party

This past week I helped out with the Easter party at Rylee's school. I was in charge of coming up with a craft, helping bring in a snack and helping with the Easter egg hunt. Makenzie got to tag along too and thought she was big stuff for that. We may actually never get her to leave again now haha. I came up with the cutest craft where the kids made cotton ball bunnies out of milk cartons but didn't get a picture of them doing it since I was helping out with that. Finch Park

The other day we spent the morning in the park with Aunt Jessie, Miss Carol (Jessie's Mother-in-law whom my kids love like crazy!) and Nana. It was a nice day and my kids loved being at the park. This was the one park where the ducks didn't want to cooperate though. When the kids tossed bread at them they walked away from it. So we fed the bread to the fish instead.
