Princess Rylee

Today's post is really just a bunch of random pictures. My sister bought Rylee a princess crown and put it in her Halloween basket. She looks so cute in it.






Dave is always saying that he can't give Rylee her bath because he's never done it before so the other night I made him do it all. This was how he carried her back to her room. I asked him if he was Rafiki from the Lion King and Rylee was Simba.



And Rylee has learned a new trick. I found her standing up for the first time in her crib today. Then all day long she pulled up at the coffee table, couch, front door, anything she could get a good grip on. Here is her on her knees at the door and then at the coffee table. She's really getting mobile now! I can see her walking soon.





Lastly Rylee thinks it is just the funniest thing that I wear a towel on my head after I get out of the shower. I tried putting one on her head today...she didn't like it too much!

Stuck

Rylee chases poor Oliver all over the place now. He can't lay down in the same room as us without her wanting to get to him. In her attempts to get to him today, she chased him under the dining room table. She got stuck but then got herself loose before we could get her picture. But here are a couple cute ones of her anyways...

Can't trust Dad

I had to work today and so Dave was at home with Rylee all day by himself. When I got her up from her nap to feed her this was how I found her dressed. He actually thought he had done really well and was proud of himself for dressing her. I don't think I'll put him in charge of buying her clothes!

Pumpkin Patch

We took Rylee to a pumpkin patch tonight. This time it was mostly just for the pictures since she is too little to help pick out the pumpkin but it is something that we are going to continue doing. She also had her first major fall tonight....and it was totally my fault. While Dave was paying for our pumpkin I decided that I would get a couple more pictures of her. I set her on this step and back away a little to get a good photo. I think I must have looked down at the camera and then as soon as I looked back up she was falling. She fell face first into the grass. It was just barely off the ground but she scraped her nose and forehead. There are some pictures of her boo-boo too.

I love Fall!

Rylee and I spent all day Tuesday hanging out at Jessie's new house. She lives right beside Daniel's grandparents. They were cute in the afternoon and sitting outside watching the leaves fall. We joined them and got some great pictures!

Bombarded with Pictures

We went to Michigan this past weekend to visit Dave's family. We had such a great time seeing everyone and letting Rylee get to know them. It took her a little while to warm up to everyone but by the end she was letting anyone hold her. We got to meet some new people (well new for Rylee and I), Dave's uncle and his wife and kids and Dave's cousin and her husband and her little boy. We also got to go to Lake Michigan's beach and play for a little while. Rylee wasn't too sure of the sand though. Here are all the pictures.

Halloween PJ's

My sister Jessie is always getting Rylee the cutest outfits. This time she found her the cutest pair of pajamas for Halloween. I just wanted to share her pictures in those and then a couple other random pictures. She's had a cold this week though so you'll have to excuse the runny nose in one of the pictures. We hope she'll be better just in time to visit Grandma and Grandpa on Thursday.

Jessie's Wedding

My sister Jessie got married this past weekend. It rained all day Friday but thankfully was beautiful on Saturday. She had an outside ceremony at the gazebo of the country club that his parents belong to. It's on Baden Lake. The lake was in the background of the pictures...which made it just beautiful. Rylee was so good! She sat with my roommate Stacy during the wedding and then Stacy helped me keep up with her at the reception too. Here are some of my favorite pictures. Its hard to think that my little sister is all grown up and married off now.
