More Snow

Friday night and Saturday we got about 7 inches of snow. Rylee came down with a cold on Friday so we didn't want to take her out in it too much and since she doesn't love walking in the deep snow she was content just walking around outside of the garage. Here are some pictures of her and the snow outside our house.

Makenzie's finished room

Tonight and today Dave, me and my mom got Makenzie's room finished. My mom and I got her name put on the wall and Dave put all the shelves and things on the walls. Here are a few pictures of what the final product will look like!

Then we went to my college rooomate's little boy's 1st birthday party today. I only took a couple of pictures so I'll have to wait and steal some of theirs later but here is what I took.

Big Steps

Mommy is about to lose it tonight! Her big girl is growing up! And I think it really hit me tonight when she went to bed in her "big girl" bed for the first time. Of course she did great. I didn't even hear a peep from her when we put her to bed..but her mommy is silently freaking out inside! Here are a few pictures from today. First we went to a friend's baby shower and they let her ride on their play horsey and reindeer and then a few pictures before bed and of her first time in her "big girl" bed.

Rylee's room

As promised...here are a few pictures of Rylee's new and improved big girl room. We bought the rails for the big girl bed the other day too so we will soon start transitioning her to her big girl bed! I am terrified of that though...for whatever reason! But she really loves her new big girl bed so hopefully it will go smoothly.






and one of Rylee since she was already laying in bed when I remembered to take the pictures! We still have to move the curtain and mirror to Makenzie's room and find Rylee a new curtain and mirror ...but otherwise I think it looks cute!

This past weekend we started working on Makenzie's new room. We are in the process of moving Rylee to a big girl bed and putting her big girl furniture into her room (I'll take a picture tomorrow when she's not in bed) so Makenzie's room is still kinda bare...but I wanted to give you an idea of what it was going to look like.



Then here are a couple of pictures of Rylee playing with my grandmother. To be in her 70's...my granny is still is great shape and can get down with Rylee and play. This is them in her tent.

Rylee got a new tent for Christmas that she really loves. At first she was really tentative about crawling through the tunnel but now she will do it over and over again! Thanks Dan and Therese! Here are a few pictures.
