Putting Rylee to work

Now that Rylee is 2, we told her she has to work to earn her fair share. So she has started vacuuming for us and filling the cat food when it is empty. Here are some pictures.











Then since today is my last day of maternity leave, here are some cute pictures of Makenzie and some of the girls together.

Bumbo Seat

The other day we borrowed a Bumbo Seat from our neighbors. I'm sure this won't be the last pictures you see of Makenzie in it...since its about the only way to get her to sit up for now. Here are a few pictures I attempted to take the other day of my girls out in the yard.







Then each year for our anniversary, Dave and I visit a vineyard and do their tour and wine tasting. This year we went to a vineyard called Raffaldini Winery. It was a cute little place but the weather wasn't the best. We were hoping to eat outside and enjoy the outdoors but had to instead stay inside. It was really nice to have some time for just Dave and I though. Here are a couple pictures from that.

Tummy Time

We've been trying to get Makenzie to do some tummy time and time on her play mat each day. She is starting to be able to hold her head up some and actually rolled over a few times. Now by rolling over I mean she is already on her elbows and just pushes herself to the side. I'm not sure I would completely call that doing it on her own..but still she is doing it. Here are a few pictures from tummy time today and yesterday of Rylee and Makenzie.

Breakfast in Bed and a Wedding

So Rylee and Makenzie have been sick this past week so I haven't taken a lot of pictures. They both have snotty noses and coughs (especially not fun with a newborn!) but on Saturday night my mom kept both of them and Dave and I got to go out for the night. My friend had gotten married in Cabo a few weeks ago and we went to her reception that night. We had a really good time.



Saturday morning though Dave let me sleep in and him and Rylee made me breakfast in bed. It was the best breakfast I think I've ever had! It was supposedly a fruit salad with some meats and desserts.

Smiles and Visits with Cousins

Makenzie is really starting to smile now and I must admit I love it! While its fun to cuddle and hold a newborn, I really love it when they will start interacting with you. Here are a few smiles that I got from her today.







Then yesterday my cousin and his wife and children came over for dinner. They have 3 kids, JP, Allie and Ethan. The kids had so much fun playing together. We'll definately have to do it again soon.

Then here are a couple random pictures of Rylee...one of her playing with the bubble wand we found tucked away in the back of her closet, then some new PJ's one of my friends sent to her and how we found her playing yesterday...she dumped all her toys out so she could sit in her toy box.
