Where has the time gone?!?!

Somehow in all the hustle and bustle of the holidays I some how managed to miss blogging for a whole entire month!  Part of it was intentional.  I wanted to have a few new pictures to be able to show my parents and my in-laws in the photo books I make them each year.  Then time just got away from me after that.  It also didn't help that we had a couple of emergency room visits during that time...one for Rylee falling off the neighbor's couch and hitting the coffee table causing her tooth to be pushed forward and crooked.  They ended up having to put her to sleep and pull the tooth.  The second visit was on Christmas Day when Rylee was helping me slice zucchini with my new slicer and we cut the tip of her finger off.  It turned out to be fine and is now almost healed thankfully!  But I do want to try to catch up on a few of the Christmas events even though they are already over.. But they may seem a little random so bear with me.  Here goes..

School Halloween party

I had Halloween off so I was able to go with Rylee to her party at school that day.  The parents who planned it were really creative and it was fun seeing all the kids in their Halloween costumes.  Here are some pictures...

Halloween

This year we decided to just stick around our house to go trick or treating.  A couple of friends and their kids came along too so we had a lot of fun!  We found Rylee's costume at a yard sale and Makenzie's last year in the clearance items at Walmart.  They both loved what they wore!  Here are some pictures...

Hayride with school

Rylee's class takes a hayride at the director's house each year.  This year my mom and I both got to go along for the ride.  It was a lot of fun.  At the end they have pumpkins spread out for the kids to get one to take home.  Here are a few pictures....

Pumpkin Patch

This year someone told us about a really neat pumpkin patch fairly nearby that we wanted to try.  The girls had an absolute blast there!  Our only regret was not going earlier in the day so that we had more time.  There was so much to do that we didn't hardly have time for all of it!  Here are some of the pictures...
