Toddler Tunes

Rylee has really taken to singing recently. And I'd say for her age she knows quite a few songs! The itsy bitsy spider, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Row your boat, Mary had a Little Lamb, the ABC song and Rock a Bye Baby at least! Here she is singing 2 of them....she gets a little distracted with eating so please excuse the food.

My Dipping Queen and Being just like Pa and Nana

Rylee has totally became a dipping queen with her foods. She loves to dip in ketchup and ranch dressing especially but will also do BBQ sauce. Tonight we had grilled hamburgers from dinner and we gave her some ketchup for that. Not only did she dip that in ketchup...but also her baked beans, green beans and sugar snap peas that we had with them. Yum! What a combination!

Then recently Rylee has really wanted to start putting on her own clothes...and for that matter everyone else's. Here she is in my dad's socks (that almost come to her knees) and my mom's shoes.

Painting Toenails and Jumping

I got a pedicure last weekend so that my toes would be pretty when Makenzie comes and all week Rylee has been wanting her toes painted too. Last night we had a few minutes so I painted them for her. She loved it! She sat so still while I did it and has showed them off all day today!

Lastly Rylee thinks she can jump now. This is her the other day jumping up and down. She is so cute when she does it too.

Maternity pictures

A couple of weekends ago, my friend Stephanie came over to take some maternity pictures for us. I didn't get any made when I was pregnant with Rylee so I wanted to remember being pregnant (since this could be my last baby-at least according to my husband it is). Here are some of my favorites...

Happy Valentine's Day

Thank you to everyone for the Valentine's gifts for Rylee. She loves all the stickers, books and jewelry. Hope everyone has a great V-day!

Dave already gave me my V-day gifts...he cleaned the house and the bathrooms and kitchen while I was at work yesterday! It was probably one of the best gifts he has gotten me! Plus as a bonus he brought me home flowers and got steaks to eat on Sunday!

And only about 3 more weeks until Makenzie gets here! Is anyone as excited as me??

Happenings this week

We've been stuck inside quite a bit this week with all the snow we got last week, the still cold temperatures and Rylee being sick still. I've been working on doing Makenzie's laundry and getting things ready since there wasn't much else we could do. Here are a few pictures of our adventures indoors....

Then Rylee constantly tells me bye and when I ask where she is going she always says the mall. I always ask what she is going to buy and her response is always a pumpkin. This was her stroller packed to go to the "mall"

Then my sister threw me a small diaper shower this weekend. It was great to get to talk to family and a few friends. The shower was really nice and I think we have enough diapers to last us for a little bit...
