A New Toy

Rylee is now starting to get big enough to play with some of the toys passed down from her cousins. We tried a new one with her the other day. She wasn't too sure about it though.







And just for an update...Rylee's teeth are really starting to come in now. You can see them very well with her smiling.



Dave and I are going to visit Stacy in Columbia tonight and Jessie and Daniel are keeping Rylee. Hopefully she will be good for them and they will take lots of pictures!

Teeth!

Rylee is finally starting to get some teeth! Her bottom 2 are coming in at the same time. I can't say that she's a whole lot fussier or anything with them but I have noticed a little more drool. I started to notice them last weekend and got a few pictures of them today. It's really hard to get a good picture of them since every time I try to get her to open her mouth she sticks her tongue out too. She is also starting to give kisses now....but they are open mouth and she just sticks her tongue on your cheek. She thinks it is the funnies thing though.

We finally got around to going and visiting with Tyler and Julie. We used to see them all the time when they lived around the corner from us but now that life has gotten busier with 2 kids for them and since they have moved we haven't seen them in forever. I think the last time I saw them Allie was only a week or 2 old. She is now 4 months old and JP is 1 1/2. JP was so cute and sweet. He kept wanting to give Rylee a kiss. The first time he tried she leaned forward and they bumped heads and she pretty much decided she didn't like him after that. She cried every time he came around after that point. Allie was such a good baby. She didn't even hardly make a peep. I guess the 2 other kids running/crawling around just kept her pretty well entertained. Here are some pictures of everyone.

We had a really fun time with them....we just didn't get to stay long enough since Rylee was tired and fussy. We can't wait to get together with them again sometime soon!

Playing

Rylee has gotten pretty good about playing by herself in the floor now. We have a basket of toys that we put down there with her and she just has a great time. Today she pulled all her toys out of the basket and decided it would be a good place to play at. Here she is

I finally caught Rylee on camera today babbling. We're pretty sure she is now saying bye bye and da da. But she just says them over and over again.














And in attempts to out-do himself...Dave purposely dressed Rylee up in the most hideous outfit he could find.

Happy Halloween

Since last night was Halloween I couldn't resist dressing Rylee up and taking her trick or treating. I had to work...but got to go home early and we took Rylee to my mom and dad's neighborhood. We took her to a couple of houses to see all the neighbors. Then we came back to our house(getting here was a zoo! everyone was trick or treating in our neigborhood!) and saw a few of our neighbors. I must admit that Rylee was the cutest of all the kids and the cutest cow I've ever seen!

Princess Rylee

Today's post is really just a bunch of random pictures. My sister bought Rylee a princess crown and put it in her Halloween basket. She looks so cute in it.






Dave is always saying that he can't give Rylee her bath because he's never done it before so the other night I made him do it all. This was how he carried her back to her room. I asked him if he was Rafiki from the Lion King and Rylee was Simba.



And Rylee has learned a new trick. I found her standing up for the first time in her crib today. Then all day long she pulled up at the coffee table, couch, front door, anything she could get a good grip on. Here is her on her knees at the door and then at the coffee table. She's really getting mobile now! I can see her walking soon.





Lastly Rylee thinks it is just the funniest thing that I wear a towel on my head after I get out of the shower. I tried putting one on her head today...she didn't like it too much!
